UC Irvine Basketball offers competitive DI basketball, in a fun, family-friendly collegiate environment, at a great value! The 5,000 seat Bren Events Center has great sight lines, is easy to access, and gets loud with UCI students, Band & Spirit, and the Anteater faithful.
Men's Basketball | In 2024-25, the Anteaters shattered expectations and set new team and individual records along the way in a season of highs and lows. Head coach Russell Turner, who led the Anteaters to their 13th straight winning season, earned his 300th career win and became the third most winningest coach in the Big West. UC Irvine became the most-winningest team in program history with 32 wins, just marking the second time in program history to record 30+ wins. The Anteaters were awarded the Big West’s auto qualifying spot and a No. 1 seed for the Irvine region in the NIT for the first time in program history. It marked the ‘Eaters third consecutive postseason appearance in the NIT after earning an at-large bid in 2024.
Women's Basketball | UC Irvine women’s basketball had a milestone-filled season in 2024-25. Tamara Inoue became the all-time winningest head coach in program history. As a team, the Anteaters recorded their fourth consecutive 20-win campaign. Four of those victories came against schools that made the 2025 NCAA Tournament. Statistically, UCI was once again one of the top defensive squads in the nation, ranking fifth in field goal percentage defense (35.4%) and 10th in scoring defense (54.3 ppg).

PREVIEW OF THE NEWCOMERS
Both the Men's and Women's programs added new faces to their squads early in the off-season. Men's Basketball signed guard Tamatoa Isaac from New Zealand and welcomed back guard Derin Saran, who spent his freshman year with the Anteaters before a one-year stint with Stanford. SEAT CHANGE REQUESTS
Season ticket holders wishing to request a seat change, upgrade, or to buy additional seats should renew existing seats and indicate your desire to relocate in the designated field.
PARKING
Discounted season parking is available for purchase to all basketball season ticket holders. Parking must be purchased online. Discounted parking will be available for purchase in October.
ANTEATER CLUB
Pregame & halftime hospitality is available at all regular season Men's Basketball home games and select sporting events throughout the year for qualifying Anteater Club members.
(2025-26 membership levels will be the same as 2024-25)
