UC Irvine Basketball offers competitive DI basketball, in a fun, family-friendly collegiate environment, at a great value! The 5,000 seat Bren Events Center has great sight lines, is easy to access, and gets loud with UCI students, Band & Spirit, and the Anteater faithful.
Last season, UC Irvine Women's Basketball earned its third Big West title, making it their 5th straight 20-win season and 4th postseason appearance in 5 years. 2x Big West Coach of the Year, Head Coach Tamara Inoue, led the Anteaters through a competitive season, continuing her reign as the winningest head coach in UC Irvine Women's Basketball history. The team also earned recognition off the court, receiving a WBCA Academic Team Honor Roll mention for maintaining a 3.0+ team GPA.
